Volunteers / Interns
Volunteers/ Interns are important personnel of society. It is necessary to create socially alternative space because our work is expanding enormously. Only few members cannot handle all tasks. As a result, each year or occasionally, we create process to form a new generation and recruit interested people to join our mission as well as enroll interested intern students to come to work with us both Thais and foreigners.

Mission II
▪ To open space for civil participants especially, children, the youth and people interested to work with Gabfai.

General Activities

Volunteers are people who have volunteer spirit to work for society without wanting money or reputation in return. They are fully aware of human values and environmental values. Or they are people who want to prevent and solve social problems with confidence that they are part of creative changes and can join hands to create goodness together. They can be the youth who are pursuing knowledge and ready to develop themselves. They are interested in working in team and exchanging knowledge. They are able to arrange and manage time to work as a team. Gabfai sees the importance stated above and thus, we create space for volunteers and intern students to expand creative thinking to people media’s space in order to cause changes for peaceful society. There are different types of volunteers as follows :

1. Novice Volunteers
Novice Volunteers are people who apply or register with Gabfai and go through orientation or creating mutual understanding within the Team. They will be trained on community theatre and learn about the process according to period of time in each project with support of the Team. And they should abide by the regulations. They should also attend meetings including doing evaluation after trainings finish.

2. Permanent Volunteers
Permanent Volunteers are people who have already gone through novice volunteers. They are talented and interested in working as volunteers in a department that they keen on within agreed period of time. They will be responsible for tasks assigned and will perform tasks under terms and conditions of Gabfai. They can accept and abide by regulations of Gabfai and attend meetings including doing evaluation after trainings finish.

3. Special Volunteers
Special Volunteers are people from other organizations or talented persons asked by the Team to work together. There is a specific period of time previously agreed (not more than 6 months/ or mutual agreement case by case). They will go through orientation or creating mutual understanding within the Team before start working. They are responsible for doing work plan including performing activities under terms and conditions of the Team and attend meetings including doing evaluation after trainings finish.

4. Community Volunteers
Community Volunteers are people who live in communities and have already gone through training process from Gabfai. They have special skills or they are interested in working with the Team. They will work through period of time previously agreed. They are responsible for doing work plan including performing activities under terms and conditions of the Team and attend meetings including doing evaluation after trainings finish.

Intern Students

Intern Students are students from institutions who volunteer to work with Gabfai. Normally, working period is limited to 3 months. Before working, there are orientation, creation of mutual understanding and training on working process. Intern students will be responsible for tasks assigned and will perform tasks under terms and conditions of Gabfai. They can accept and abide by regulations of Gabfai and attend meetings including doing evaluation after trainings finish.
